Stand out
From the competition
Whether you are looking for a new brand for a start-up company, looking to re-brand a long time company or just looking for overall branding guidelines to compliment your existing logo, I can help.
Keep it Simple & Consistent
A great logo is important, and simplicity often leads to the best logos. But your brand isn’t just your logo. A well designed brand and branding guideline will lead to a cohesive look & feel throughout all of your company’s marketing material. Throughout your business, you may be using different companies for printing, or labels or just different design materials so it is important that you have a set of guidelines for these companies to follow. This will ensure that your brand stays consistent and does not change over time.

Let’s work together
To great an unforgettable brand
Designing a logo and overall brand for a company is a very personal thing. I am not here to tell you what it should look like. You probably have some ideas as to what you want to see. I am here to support your ideas and lend some creativity to them. Creating a brand is a collaborative process. We will work together and come up with a look and feel that you can be proud of for years to come.
The Design process
My process has been refined after many years and although it is flexible, below is generally how a branding design will proceed.
If you are looking for company brand then contact me and we can set up a video call. In this call we can get to know eachother a bit. I will want to kget to the bottom of what your company’s overall goal and mission statement is as well as who your target audience is.
We can discuss your business, your competition and other ideas you may have and we can even go and look at some other logos and brands that may be similar to what you are looking for.
I will likely give some ideas at this point as when I have them, I want to share them. I also want to know where your head is at and if I am thinking along the same lines as you are. Then when we finish this meeting, I can start preparing a quote for the project.
During our call, we likely talked about your budget. There are lots of different solutions I can offer and they are budget dependant.
So if you are looking for the “budget” approach, then I will quote on that approach. But, fi you are looking to see the difference between the “budget” approach and the “ferrari” approach, I can offer you both so that you will have a comparison.
I can also offer a range of cost that will cover both the “budget” and the “ferrari” approach and then we can narrow down that range to something you are comfortable with.
My quote will outline in detail what I am providing and if you want, I can provide one set-cost so you know exactly what you will be spending and exactly what you are getting.
I will provide a timeline in my quote and I do ask for a partial deposit. Once the quote is approved and the deposit is recieved, the work will begin.
Before even working in colour, I will draft some concepts. I may show you 3 or 4 different “drafts”. These will contain some symbols, some layouts and some font ideas. The goal of this presentation is to get your overall taste and what it is you are looking for figured out. These concepts are only draft and not refined at all but are really as if I am presenting you a rought sketch.
Once I have your feedback on the symbols you like and the fonts you like, I will begin working on flushing out an actual logo.
In logo design, it is collaborative, but my client does drive the process. Some clients want to see lots of different combinations. Others want me to work on my own and present them with one polished logo. So depending on what you would like I will either work on my own here to get to a refined logo, or we can go back and forth a few different times to get your feedback on various things. At the end of this stage, we should have 1-2 concepts that we can then work witih on the colour palette.
I will present my colour palette of choice with the chosen logo(s). At this point, we may need to collaborate or the client may see clearly which logo and colour palette they prefer. We will work on this stage until the colour palette and logo is 100% chosen.
Once we have a polished logo and colour palelette, I will put together a document that outlines the branding guidelines so that your brand stays cohesive in the future.
